The purpose of the La Vernia Historical Association is to research, record, recognize, publish, document and encourage interest in the history of La Vernia, Wilson County, Texas. Our goal is to accurately and properly preserve the truthful history of La Vernia, for this and future generations.

Monthly meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the months September - May, at 7pm in the GVEC Community Room, 13849 US Hwy 87 W. Anyone interested in the history of La Vernia is welcome to attend.
